This raging new sport not only makes great target practice (which may come in handy if there’s ever a zombie apocalypse) but it’s also a great way to blow off some steam with your friends.

Gather your army of adrenaline junkies at the world’s first dedicated Nerf centre. The 18,000 square-feet space features multiple indoor themed activity zones that test your agility and creativity through active play, teamwork and more. You’ll be armed with a Nerf blaster loaded with darts, no less. Challenge your mates and find out who has the nerves (or Nerf) of steel. If all that shooting and dodging flying pellets got you working up an appetite, refuel at the food and beverage areas. There are also retail stalls with exclusive Nerf merchandise for you to expand your arsenal.

This whimsical playground in Clarke Quay transforms the traditional putt into a multi-sensory labyrinth of unique holes. Take a swing at the different mini golf courses that pay homage to a range of pop culture references – think Game of Thrones, The Simpsons, and Pac-Man. The more you hole the putt, the more likely you’ll discover a model of Marina bay Sands being attacked by Godzilla too. After a competitive (or not) game with your fellow mini-golfers, swing by the resto for a menu of food and drinks that are as colourful as the place itself.

This is not your average arcade, so don’t come expecting the conventional Daytona gaming machines. Instead, Zero Latency brings a whole new dimension with virtual reality (VR) added to the equation. With nerve-wracking storylines and scenarios, the fully immersive games are bound to get your blood pulsating in no time. Equipped with only a controller and a headset with 2K resolution for the ultimate VR experience, square up with zombie baddies and evil robots, and solve physics-based puzzles in a dystopian world.

Got an appetite for destruction? Not exactly an escape room per sé, but The Fragment Room allows you to escape from the stress of reality as you pulverise a whole bunch of things like plates, glasses, and electronic appliances with your crew. Suit up, select your weapon of choice (wood or metal bat), and smash every available piece to smithereens. The session is also soundtracked to a killer playlist to amp up the experience. Instant gratification is guaranteed.

While you can’t hit the club just yet, K-Bowling is your best bet at getting your bowling fix surrounded by neon lights and club bangers. As Singapore’s first multi-entertainment bowling venue, this cosmic-themed alley is more than just a place to knock some pins down. Illuminated by neon lights, the space also houses arcade games, pool tables, dart machines, and even private karaoke booths. While you have your fair share of fun, do follow the safety guidelines. More brains than brawns, this escape room requires you and your friends to work together as a team to beat the clock and solve a variety of puzzles – all within 60 minutes. There are different storylines with varying levels of difficulty and intensity to choose from such as The Purge – yes, like the movie of the same name – and Tekong Army Bunk where those infamous NS ghost stories come to life.

9. Gear up for LaserOPS

Round up the crew for a game of laser tag at a 5,500-square-feet space in Dhoby Ghaut. There are up to 35 different game formats that cater to various age groups, fitness levels, and of course, laser tag skills. Unlike other ‘shooting’ games, you’ll be equipped with a vest that has built-in sensors that vibrate when ‘hit’ with a phaser gun. It’s then recorded and transmitted in real-time to the score screen. The maze arena is specially designed with backlighting and smoke effects to create a thrilling atmosphere, so make the most of these features while you navigate through it.

Everyone’s welcome to bounce, prance and run around SuperPark Singapore, an all-in-one indoor activity park from Finland, located at Suntec City Mall. The double-storey 40,000 square foot play space features over 20 exciting adrenaline pumping games including a tube slide, indoor flying fox, and trampoline zone. On top of that, three new game experiences have also been added to the line-up such as iWall, SuperClimb, and a kid-friendly Ninja Track. It even has a skate and scoot section for skating enthusiasts to hone their skills.
