After a year selling its famed egg tarts in Takashimaya, Tai Cheong Bakery brings its Hong Kong brand of Canto-Western fare to Holland Village. Beyond its signature baked goods are dine-in options in a cramped space not unlike that of a Hong Kong-style teahouse. Try the scrambled egg toast stack with chicken chop ($9.50) or French toast ($6.50), which works up a buttery, golden brown treat with your choice of maple syrup or dulce de leche. Or get its signature egg tarts ($1.90 each) at the pastry counter, alongside local creations including the durian and cheese tart ($3.60) and coconut tart ($2.50).
