While The Fishwives specialise in – you guessed it, fish – their retail outlet also offers a whole range of meats, poultry, and deli products, and even more specialised items like gluten-free breads and camel milk.
Their fishmonger section holds a wide variety of trout, white fish, prawns and other seafood, and of note is their Akaroa salmon (from $14.50), air-flown from New Zealand twice a week, while fresh wild caught snapper (from $20) and grass-fed lamb (from $23.50) come in once a week. Other items on retail include condiments and truffle products, as well as alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic spirits.
