MO Bar

Award-winning MO Bar has reopened, welcoming guests back into a newly refined locale nestled in the elegant and lively ambience of Mandarin Oriental Singapore. Besides its revamped space, other fresh additions include its newly appointed Bar Manager, Charlie Kim, and the Volume Five cocktail menu titled Blue Print. It’s an elegant curation of artisanal cocktails that tell the story of Singapore’s unique culture and architectural journey.

Within the pages of MO Bar’s beautifully designed menu lie 14 distinct cocktails that each have its own tale, coming together in an intricate narrative of Singapore’s cityscape. Infused with iconic local flavours and spirits, every beverage is elevated through meticulous techniques and thoughtfully crafted blends.

The names of each cocktail will ring a bell. For starters, Ice Lemon Tea ($26) is a concoction of gin and cirtrus Haflong MO Bar tea blend that pays homage to our tropical island. For something slightly more adventurous, the laksa-inspired leaf-infused gin cocktail titled White Rabbit ($26) will do the trick. Upon the initial sip, you’ll encounter a delightful sweetness that gradually transitions into a subtle hint of laksa flavour lingering in the aftertaste.

Whisky lovers, go straight for Grandfather’s Road ($26) or Kopi Siew Tai ($26). The first is a blend of Indian whisky, rum, pepper-infused bitters and jicama syrup while the latter is a unique twist on a local coffee beverage, featuring Compendium’s Hom Mali Rice Whiskey infused with cereal milk. Both are served in nostalgic locally-inspired vessels, taking the experience up a notch.

In a nod to the Helix Bridge in Marina Bay – the first in the world to feature a double helix design – is Helix ($26). This drink is a refreshing mix of rum, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, spicy ginger flower, celery and a splash of Champagne.

Complete your cocktail pairing with MO Bar’s new menu of bar snacks. The truffle lobster rolls ($42) are a treat served with truffle bearnaise and ikura. If you’re just looking to snack, then their signature laksa French fries ($18) is not one to be missed – featuring the unique taste of laksa, finished off with crispy kale and drizzled with a rich laksa crème.
