Some fans enjoy being on their feet in the standing pens, immersed in the energy of the crowd. Others may prefer a comfortable seat to enjoy the music with a full view of the stage. Some also opt for side-stage seats for a closer glimpse of the performers.

The best seats for…

1. Fans who want both a good view and a seat

If you want to sit and chill with unobstructed sights of the performer, then the first category of seats to the left and right of the stage will be your best bet. We suggest getting a row higher than the first and second to elevate your views a little. If you’re slightly tight on budget, scoring seats from the second category will promise you pretty good views too.

2. Fans who aren’t fussy about the view, but need a seat

Cheapest seats work here. However, since you may be particular about the audio quality, we recommend spending a little bit more and getting the tickets directly facing the stage for better acoustics, even if you are opting for backseats. Get a pair of binoculars for key moments.

3. Fans that aren’t picky about seats and views

This one’s for the budget-conscious fans. If you’re low on funds, don’t mind compromising on the view and just need a seat to rest your legs, the cheapest seats will do the trick. Similarly, binoculars are your best friend. Go for the furthest seats from the stage as they are usually cheaper, but we still recommend getting the ones that are positioned on the left and right of the stages.

4. Fans who need the space to jump and dance their hearts out

Two words – standing pen. There’s a decent chance that you will get a good view, but that depends on your height and that of the person standing in front of you. Plus, if you’re a more hardcore fan, then priority standing is recommended as you might be able to hear the artist’s actual voice if you’re close enough. Do remember to look out for obstructions like delay towers and front of houses.

Look out for seats with restricted views indicated on the seating map. There have been instances where lucky fans with restricted view seats ended up with a view that was completely unobstructed:

We’re talking about the seats that are seemingly near to the stage but positioned all the way to the sides. These are the ones that have almost no view at all. You might not have a clear view of the big screen too, and the acoustics might be subpar.

3. First row seats – they aren’t always the best

The first row of the categories directly behind the standing pen has been called out as the worst seats in the arena. The view is completely obstructed, and there is no option to stand as you might block other concert-goers behind you.
