Little Diner

Helmed by chef Michael Quinn of Ireland by way of New York (where he worked for 12 years), this two-storey bar/restaurant follows the simple motto on the door, which says ‘Food – Drink – Hang’. Attempting to bridge both Irish and American influences (specifically the style of New York’s Lower East Side), it offers brunch all week, with items like Rivington Eggs Benedict ($14.50), Delancy Red Velvet Pancakes ($13.50) and Super Cereal-Crusted French Toast ($13.50). Main dinner courses include American standards, such as Stanton Street Roast Chicken ($19.50) and Char-grilled US Double Cut Pork Rack ($22). There’s a burger on the menu (Midtown Beef Burger, $18), baked macaroni and cheese ($14) and a Nutella quesadilla ($8) for dessert. With 30 seats on each floor, there’s additional alfresco seating, although it’s along the busy main road.
