Selections like The Trad ($6.90) – chicken ham and pate with pickled vegetables – are a homage to the classic but novel creations like the Asian Po-Boy ($8.90) filled with crispy battered prawns are worth a try too.
Rebel also has vegetarian options that are equally delicious. The popular Pure ($6.90) sub is stuffed with Quorn spicy patties and tempeh. For the uninitiated, Quorn is a meat substitute made from mycoprotein that tastes just like chicken (think McDonald’s chicken nuggets).
