Originally a hole-in-the-wall bar at Boat Quay, The Spiffy Dapper has found a new home over at Amoy Street on the second floor of a shophouse. The watering hole stocks more craft beers, spirits beyond Spiffy’s already extensive selection of gin and tonic waters, and a barrel-aged cocktail programme you can buy and enjoy at the tavern-like establishment. The bigger space – about twice the size of its erstwhile Boat Quay spot – also sports an open kitchen, which recent Culinary Institute of America graduate Christine Seah oversees, along with the bar’s daytime Dapper Coffee operations.
