Local ice cream parlour Creamier opens a second, alfresco outlet at Gillman Barracks (the first is at Tiong Bahru). Its rotating menu of 12 signature flavours ($4.30/scoop), such as Thai milk tea, and five other seasonal flavours ($5.30) can be added to its stellar waffles ($6) for a satisfying midweek treat. The Gillman Barrack location mints three exclusive flavours to try – kaya-flavoured scoops topped with toasted bread crumbs for crunch ($4.30), pomegrante yogurt and chewy attap chee ($5.30) and Macadamia Tropicana ($5.30), a summery combination of pineapple and coconut.
