Back in 2017, we thought Gong Cha was leaving the market for good – but then it came back to Singapore stronger (and longer queues) than before. Gong Cha’s bubble tea is made with premium teas traditionally only served to the Emperor of China, but we’re able to enjoy a cup from just $3. Established in 2006 in Taiwan, the brand now has over 1500 stalls around the world including 22 in Singapore. The drink to try is its earl grey milk tea, but if you’re brave to try something different, its taro tea is also a popular pick.
