Seng House

The vibrant neighbourhood of Tanjong Katong has a new kid on the block. Seng House is a cosy Hainanese-style inspired cafe opened by the folks behind Seng Coffee Bar at Changi Road. From comforting local flavours to gourmet brunch fare, the establishment offers all of that and more. Taking inspiration from their Hainanese roots, the menu offers classics like yellow curry chicken bowl ($16.80), Hainanese pork chop ($22.50), oxtail stew ($28.50), and claypot chicken rice ($18.80). For those who prefer western cuisine, try the Dirty Steak Sandwich ($28.80) or the British fish & chips ($19.80). There are also plenty of pasta options from vongole ($23.80) to bolognese ($19).
